A bouquet of fading roses, considered past their prime and discarded by a local seller, became my objet d’art recently when I put them into a vase and bagan snapping away.  The flowers all had flaws and imperfections, but they were still amazingly beautiful and fragrant.  I composed and shot many different photos, liking just as many as I disliked.

In this particular shot, I like that you can actually see the texture of the petals, and that the background appears to be a nice shade of purple.  I also like the way the main flower sits in the frame.  What are your thoughts?   afs
