I couldn’t resist stopping to snap “1826 On The Green” last night.  It was so nicely lit and full of charm…it certainly has GREAT curb appeal!  Their menu looks delicious.  If you’ve had a meal there already, please share your review.  The building that houses 1826, the Farmer’s Society Hall was built in the Greek revival style on the village green in Pendleton around 1826.  It’s the town centerpiece and the oldest Farmers Hall still in continuous use in the United States.  The ground floor housed the U.S. Post Office and the second floor features the meeting hall where Thomas Green Clemson successfully campaigned for the Clemson University establishment.   afs
