Local hunger is real!  You may not realize it at the time, but chances are you see someone most every day that is experiencing a food insecurity.  The working poor, disabled and senior populations are particularly vulnerable.  The Sojourner’s sunday school class of First Baptist Church and an anonymous donor sponsored a Manna Produce Distribution yesterday through Anderson Interfaith Ministries(AIM).  Golden Harvest Food Bank delivered a truck with more than 5,000 pounds of fresh produce that volunteers distributed to approximately 347 people who needed the assistance.  To find out more about how you can help hungry families in the Anderson community, call me at AIM (864) 965-9077.   afs
