I have to confess that I’m being lazy with today’s post.  I have photos on my camera to upload and didn’t get around to doing it, so here’s one that I took last week.  These bountiful branches of beautiful berries caught my attention as I drove home through my neighborhood.

This plant is called Pyracantha (or Firethorn) and it’s covered with hundreds of berries and LOADS of prickly thorns.  It screams autumn to me!  The color of the berries closely resemble the color of my favorite color of Fiesta dinnerware called “persimmon”.     ~afs
